GearIQ watches live eBay listings for golf, disc golf and pickleball gear and compares each one to the median of recent completed sales. This connector exposes that data to any agent that speaks the Model Context Protocol, including Meta Muse, Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor.

Endpoint

https://geariq.pro/api/mcp — Streamable HTTP transport, stateless. Send JSON-RPC 2.0 over POST. No authentication is required; the connector only reads public listing data and never takes actions or makes purchases.

Tools

  • find_deals — Current eBay listings priced below their recent sold average, filtered by sport, discount, price, condition, brand, item type, keyword, listing type or time remaining. Returns prices, comps, seller reputation and the eBay link.
  • price_check — What a specific item actually sells for: sold average, low, high, sample size and the recent sales. Works for judging any listing, on eBay or anywhere else.
  • deal_details — One listing in full, including the individual sales behind its comp.

How agents should use it

  • "Find me a Scotty Cameron putter under market" → find_deals with keyword and sport, then hand the user the eBay link.
  • "Is $180 a good price for this Callaway driver on Facebook Marketplace?" → price_check with a specific query, then compare.
  • Treat deal_status "bid" as an unfinished auction, and "lowvol" or "suspect" as weak evidence.

Data and privacy

Responses contain public eBay listing data, seller reputation as eBay publishes it, and GearIQ's own price analysis. The connector stores nothing about the agent or its user. Links to eBay carry an eBay Partner Network identifier; GearIQ may earn a commission on purchases, at no cost to the buyer. See the privacy policy and terms.
